Louise is passionate about providing top quality, practical training programmes for all levels of personnel within the oil, banking and local council market sectors.
She leads seminars and workshops on a wide range of personal development topics. As part of her work she designs, develops and runs tailored training courses to assist groups and individuals in achieving their communication goals. Her background in Linguistics, Psycholinguistics, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Speech Therapy has focused her training on communication skills and personal development.
She is an accomplished personal coach working with individuals at management level in the international oil industries in Stavanger. Being English, she specialises in Cross-Cultural Communication issues and Working with the Norwegians. She has vetted the annual sales presentation for the top multinational oil company’s Sales Director and has run Negotiation skills, Train the Trainer courses and Leadership Skills courses for international oil supply corporations. She has also led projects in raising the level of technical writing of engineers in several organisations.
Outside the corporate world, Louise has developed and run courses and seminars in Norwegian specifically for the Local Government offices, the Ministry of Oil and Energy (NPD) and for various local charitable organisations in topics as diverse as Assertiveness Skills and Selling Ideas with NLP skills.
In her role as speech therapist she has been responsible for a nationwide promotional programme for the work of speech therapists in Norway. She also runs a part-time private practice for speech therapy clients and works with Norwegian and expatriate clients with ages ranging from 20 to 82 on areas such as stammering, language recapture after brain damage, Parkinsons voice maintenance etc.
She is a member of the Norwegian Speech Therapy Association MNLL. She also has a network of experienced consultants who work together with her on various projects.
